Our vision for you is that you would unravel the phenomenal plan God has for you in this City as you partner with His church. Welcome to the time of your life! We have got so much coming up in the new year including Red Frogs Missions, Student Connect Groups, 18 30s Hangouts, Student House Parties, Open Air Cinema, Campus Life and much much more.... but here's a taster of some of the key things for you to get stuck into on arrival...
If you are moving to the city PLEASE GET IN CONTACT and let us know when you arrive so we can help you settle into your accommodation, your city and your church. We would love to pick you up and bring you to one of our incredible Sunday Services. Our aim is to help you settle in and get launched into this big new season in anyway we can. Connect Groups | Week commencing 5th July
Connect Groups are the small group network of Hope City Church. It's the heart and soul of Hope City Uni, with great family time and an injection of God-flavour into your week! There are 8 Student Connect Groups which meet on a Monday or Tuesday at times and locations across the city. We've got them meeting on campus, in Starbucks, in living rooms and even in bars! SUMMERFEST 2010 | 28th-31st July
Denbigh, North Wales
For all the teens and twenty-somethings of Hope City Church!
Get ready for an incredible four days and three nights of wild summer antics, incredible inspiration and tribal wars as the youth, students and young adults from all five congregations head out to the 17th century castle ruins in Denbigh, North Wales! Expect to be inspired, renewed and empowered from our guest speakers, Pastor Ross Abraham and Pastor Jason Gowland! We don't want you to miss out on a thing so make sure you get yourselves signed up! Run for Students by Students - A huge night of praise, people and relevant preaching aimed at uni culture and lifestyle! Get yourself connected into the vibrant student community! Straight after the 11am Service
We will be putting on hot lunches and hangouts for all our students. The perfect chance to meet new people, some of the Pastors of our church, and other fresher's who are new to the life of the church.
Church, Food & a Flick | 24th & 31st October, 7th &14th November
6pm Service then Dinner and Cinema
By now hopefully your stuck into church and stuck into Uni so why not kick off your shoes and make yourself at home. We have free dinner and cinema at Church for 4 weeks at our Sunday night service! Sit back and relax with friends and some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters.... INCLUDING POPCORN!!!
