All of the tutors chosen to lecture in the Leadership Academy are proven leaders in their areas of gifting and ministry. They all have a heart to raise up the next generation of leaders and to pass on what they have learnt on their journey of life and leadership.
Dave Gilpin

Dave is the Senior Pastor of Hope City Church having planted the church in 1991. Dave's creativity, his insight into leadership and his experience in church planting and church development will both challenge and inspire you to a greater level of personal leadership.HIs quirky intelligent style will encourage out of the box thinking. Jenny Gilpin
(Senior Pastor of Hope City Church)
Jenny, alongside her husband Dave, pastors Hope City Church as well as overseeing the City Hearts Project and The Leadership Academy. Jenny has proven experience in ministry that makes her sharp and clear as a communicator and her prophetic gift brings an added dimension to the training sessions. Jenny and Dave have a grown up son, Ryan. (Diploma of Ministry)
Ali Bianchi

Ali has seen great success in schools and working with students over the last few years in the life of Hope City Church. Ali has a heart to see young people changed by the Gospel and his energy and enthusiasm will greatly inspire you. He is married to Karen and they have a baby girl on the way! (BA Hons History)
Siobhan Bullock
(Managing Director of City Hearts)
Siobhan is the Managing Director of City Hearts (Uk based rehabilitation programme for women with life controlling issues) as well as a key player in the development of our multiple congregations. From her involvement in the day to day running of church life, Siobhan will bring practical insight and some 'How to's' on leadership that will help strengthen you on your leadership journey. Siobhan is married to Steve and they have two daughters - one called Charlie-Grace and the other called Jazmine Faith. (BA Hons Social Studies)
Tim Hall
(International Evangelist)
Tim is one of the worlds leading healing evangelists ministering powerfully through the Holy Spirit to hundreds of thousands of people across the globe every year. Through Tim Hall MInistries he has seen crusade tents and stadiums packed out and litterally thousands of miracles as a result of his faith in the power of God to heal and save. He's a real friend of Hope City Church and will give a deposit a faith and an annointing for the miraculous to the students.
Paul Benger
Paul is part of the oversight of the Ground Level Network and organises the 10,000 strong Grapevine Conference in Lincoln. Paul also pastors the Christian Life Church in Chesterfield. He is an Academy favourite with his dynamic character and love for building the local church. Paul is married to Jeannie and they have three sons! Grayson Jones
Grayson is the Senior Minister of International City Church in Doncaster and Barnsley and is a long term tutor with Hope City training programmes. Grayson has pioneered lots of churches and he has a powerful teaching gift on his life. He will inspire you to reach your full potential in God. Grayson is married to Del. (BA Hons Theology)
Roger Davies
Roger is the Liverpool Congregation Pastor having acted as Assistant Pastor in Sheffield for several years prior to taking this new role on in September 2009. He has a heart to love every person in the life of the church from the youngest to the oldest. He will leave you feeling loved, encouraged and refreshed for every step of your Academy year. Chris Denham
Chris is the Congregational Pastor of Hope City Church in Leeds. Chris has seen significant growth in his congregation and in his influence in the city of Leeds. He will bring powerful insight to the Academy training as well as humour and his love for the Holy Spirit! Chris is married to Gosia and they have a son called Joel and a daughter called Ania. Simon Taylor
Simon grew up in Hope City Church in Sheffield and made the move in 2007 up to Geordieland to start a revolution in the great city of Newcastle. He is expectant for growth and real change in the lives of the people they touch. He has a daughter called Kyla and two sons called Malachi and Luka, and is married to Rachel!
Colin Blois
Having graduated from the Leadership Academy in Sheffield, Colin has overseen the 0-30's ministries in Sheffield, seeing hundreds of youth, students and young adults engage in church life from across the city. He now Pastors the Birmingham congregation on a Friday night and, along with his wife Beth, is the Assistant Pastor of Hope City Church Sheffield. Colin loves stationary.
Louise Davies
Louise is the City Outreach Pastor of Hope City Church in Sheffield and has great influence in the local community with her ability to communicate with people of all ages and backgrounds. You will be challenged to make your faith a practical reality in the lives of those around you. Louise is married to Chris and they have a baby boy called Thomas. (BFC Hons)
Sarah Dunys
Sarah Dunys is Programme Manager of Hope City Church. Sarah has a degree in Culture, Media and Communication from Lancaster University. Over her time at university she developed Mophead - a web design company, which she runs with her husband. Sarah has a passion for the development of emerging leaders and excels at recognising gifts and empowering their use to build local church.
Emma Lillystone
Emma Lillystone is the National Communications Director and PA to Senior Pastors Dave and Jenny Gilpin. As well as assisting the Senior Pastors on a practical level, her role includes the development of church websites, publishing and resources as well as overseeing BLink - a network for senior leaders from across the UK. Emma's passion lies in building local church to see it function efficiently and be established to impact it’s local communities and the nation.
