City Hearts has oversight from great women, who are also very involved in the day to day running of the Project and in the girls lives. They keep their eye on raising the standard of excellence at City Hearts as well as the personal development of every staff member, volunteer and young woman that comes into the Project.
Jenny Gilpin - Founder and Executive Director
Jenny, also the Senior Pastor of Hope City Church with her husband Dave, has one teenage son Ryan. Jenny was adopted from birth and has always had a dream in her heart to have a home for young women with life controlling issues to see them free and to become everything they can be. Jenny launched City Hearts over five years ago and continues to be involved in the lives of the young women in the programme.
Karen Bianchi - Project Manager
BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy; Cert Substance Misuse Care and Counselling; NVQ L3 Health and Social Care.
As the City Hearts Project Manager it's Karen's job to keep the whole thing running smoothly. Karen leads a great team of staff and volunteers and her experience in leadership and in working with vulnerable young women brings great strength to City Hearts. Karen is mum to Kaylah and expecting baby number two later in the year.
